Within the Ehrmann group of companies, the Saliter Competency Centre in Obergünzburg stands for customised solutions in the liquid food sector. We work with both national and international brands.
Saliter’s success story began in 1713 with the foundation of a family dairy in the Allgäu. But it’s not just its 300 years of history that makes Saliter a pioneer in the German dairy industry. At the beginning of the 20th century, J. Michael Gabler developed the roller drying process for preserving milk in powder form. The company has subsequently repeatedly demonstrated that innovation is in its genes, thus laying the foundations for the development of the company into one of the leading producers involved in the co-manufacturing of infant nutrition, ready-to-drink food and specialised liquid products.
